Glam Boudoir Session in studio - Kelowna, Okanagan B.C.

I had the pleasure of photographing Michelle's Boudoir session a little while back in my lovely little studio. I love the look of natural light my large windows gave this session. 

So soft, natural, flattering for Michelle's luminous, natural beauty.  

This photo shoot was done as a surprise for her husband, what was a surprise for me is that this fabulous figure has already produced two little ones!

Michelle bought that old Hollywood glamour vibe with her, she reminded me so much of Sarah Jessica Parker!

Studio in the woods - A natural portrait session on Vancouver Island B.C. Canada

I had a wonderful time spending the day deep in the forest of Vancouver Island with my model Kaylie not too long ago.This session was about natural beauty of both my environment and my subject.

 I love the simplicity of this session.

 Her headdress was fashioned of what I could find in the environment around us, her dress was simple, makeup was minimal, her figure was natural and she moved with the grace of a dancer. 

 The overwhelming beauty of our surroundings juxtaposed with the calm peaceful serene nature of my talented model just made the creativity flow.

The Island grows the best props and subjects naturally gorgeous. Love the giant maple tree!

Italian inspired nudes a la Amanda!

What a session! Here are some of my fav's from a recent Italian inspired nude portrait session with the gorgeous Amanda.  The combination of her sexy vibe, endless long legs, old ruin, vines, moss covered steps all came together perfectly! It's hard to believe she's a Mom of four, she's still rockin' it a fantastic inspiration for all you Moms out there!! 

Beautiful blue eyed Naomi's Boudoir Photoshoot

The morning of Naomi's Boudoir photoshoot I was getting my equipment ready wondering who Naomi would be, what she would look like- blonde, Brunette, redhead, what her personality would be like, what her story would be. Quite often I have no idea about the people I'm about to photograph and I'm filled with a curiousity and an interest to get to know my subject. Naomi arrived, a tiny little sprite of a woman who captivated me immediately. Her opening statement was that this was a reward to herself for her 100lb weight loss! The story telling began and throughout Naomi's hair & makeup ( Done by the fabulous Suzanne Attew & Denise Nyce) I began to see her spirit and the woman that I wanted to portray in her photographs. Naomi is a young woman with a world of life's experiences. She had a quiet power and as silly as it sounds reminded me of Tinkerbell! We had a beautiful day, starting in my studio, then venturing outside to a hidden away spray painted wall in the Okanagan Mission forest, ending in the Okanagan lake in October no less!

I had the pleasure of photographing Debra a couple of weeks ago. Debra drove up from Vancouver with a  friend of hers to have me do each of their Boudoir photos. I cleared out the studio of everyone but them and we got the creativity, music and  fun started. I loved her beautiful eyes and the surprise when I saw her tattoo of the eye on her lower back. Hmmm... how to capture them both in the same photograph... got it! Love it!!

Kelowna Bachelorette Party - Boudoir Photos

What a fun day! I spent Saturday with Amanda, ( the blushing Bride) Best friend Brittney, and little sis Rebecca, taking their beautiful boudoir photos. The girls all looked absolutely gorgeous, their hair done by Denise Nyce of Creative Radiance Hair Studio, and their makeup done by Suzanne Attew of Fabulous Faces. Denise and Suzanne arrived in the A.M. to work their magic on these naturally stunning girls. The champagne was flowing , the music was creating the mood, and the fun began. Here's a little sneak peak of the girls...

What a fabulous shoot!! Denise arrived with a fabulous attitude ready to play & have fun! We had the music going and the vibe was rocking. Denise is getting married in a month ( sorry boys!) and wanted to surprise her fiance with an album of boudoir images as a gift. I just found out that she couldn't wait and gave him a sneak peak. He's a very happy man. No surpise there!
